Xbox has confirmed details of a super saver sale for Game Pass subscribers, with a number of titles exclusively discounted. The new super saver sale features 46 different titles for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to buy and keep. The first chapter of Life Is Strange 2 is available as a free download, while Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris is available for £2.24.

Another great milestone for the popular Steam Deck from Valve, which in the last day or so managed to hit over 16,000 games that have been rated as Playable and Verified. This is using Valve's official rating system, so it only covers those games that have actually been tested. So keep in mind there's thousands more that do run. Not a perfect measure, with it at times having the wrong rating, but overall it's working well. Here's the current numbers at time of writing:

Capcom had announced back in June that Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics would be dropping later this year, but it wasn’t clear when exactly that would be. Now, during today’s Indie World Showcase + Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, we’ve learned that there will be two release dates for the compilation: one digital and one physical. The digital release will be on September 12, 2024, while the physical release will be on November 22, 2024.

Much like all the others there's plenty of randomness, and lots of running around collecting something (coins in this case) to upgrade abilities. However, the idea here is that you don't have any abilities directly. Instead, you hire helper cats that stand on top of the walls that use their abilities to help you dodge all the rats and other nasties out to get you. As the name suggests, you're just bait.

Game Science is reportedly working on a fix for the issue but the port is otherwise almost finished. Game Science previously claimed that the Xbox release was delayed due to performance issues, but now, the release has been indefinitely delayed without a new release date. Black Myth: Wukong achieved a peak concurrent player count of 2,415,714 players on Steam, making it the most played single player game on the platform and the second highest concurrently played game on the platform. The game launched on August 20, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC. It’s worth noting this claim has yet to be confirmed by the developer.
