MOUNT VERNON — Wednesday brought another rain shower to the Knox County Fairgrounds, but it did not deter Junior Fair contestants or fairgoers. Fostering inclusion: The Limitless Livestock Show 2024
MOUNT VERNON — Pigs, cows, horses and chickens were on display at the Limitless Livestock show created by Ansley Daubenmier. Daubenmier, an upcoming Mount Vernon High School senior, has been showing animals at the Knox County Fair for over a decade. She serves as president of Mount Vernon’s FFA chapter and the Smoking and Spurs 4-H club.
‘Devo’ and ‘Rebel Country’ Music Documentaries to Open 55th Nashville Film Festival
The 55th annual Nashville Film Festival (NashFilm) will launch this year’s event with a double feature of “Devo,” a documentary featuring the iconic 1980s de-evolution rock band, and “Rebel Country,” a documentary exposing and energizing country music culture in Nashville. The festival will close with “This Is a Film About The Black Keys,” a documentary following the band’s remarkable journey to stardom.
