Greeley Tennis Courts Reopen August 30 After Renovations
The tennis courts at Centennial Recreation Center in Greeley, CO, will reopen for play on August 30. The courts were closed for resurfacing and repairs. Stormwater Rate Increase Should Lead To Big Improvements, Says Official
You get what you pay for and according to Greeley’s public works director, Downtown residents can expect to see a drastic improvement in stormwater runoff in the next five years, thanks to a 61% stormwater rate increase city council approved in July. The Greeley Tribune reports city council approved the stormwater rate increase in July in response to massive flooding in downtown Greeley due to hail clogging the storm drains in late May. This increased rate is estimated to add $15.80 to the average residential utility bill, according to the city’s rate chart for 2025, if finalized with the city budget later this fall.
Inaugural Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day to Benefit Kids
The YMCA of Northern Colorado in Lafayette, CO and Greeley, CO is hosting the first-ever Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day.
