Michigan man sentenced in rape, beating of woman after breakup
PONTIAC, MI – A Michigan man has been sentenced to 26 to 50 years in prison for the rape and beating of his ex-girlfriend, authorities announced. Adam Richards Williams, 35, of Lake Orion, was sentenced Monday by Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Kwamé Rowe, who exceeded sentencing guidelines due to the “egregious, despicable crimes” that Williams is convicted of, according to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office.
