Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University volleyball team earned an American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award, sponsored by INTENT, it was announced today by the organization. The Pride was one of more than a record 1,400 collegiate and high school volleyball programs to maintain a yearlong grade point average of 3.3 or greater on a 4.0 scale.
