Deep Roots Market Celebrates 10 Years
Deep Roots Farmers Market returns this summer for its 10th anniversary. The market runs from June through October, supplying fresh and local produce to the community. The Summer Crazy Ice Cream Sundae Party is this Saturday
The Summer Crazy Ice Cream Sundae Party is happening this Saturday July 20 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Baldwin Park Recreational Room to raise money for Michael Saintrome. Last year, Saintrome was severely injured after being hit by a car, damaging his head and leaving him in and out of consciousness. Angela Lucas, founder of Hangout One Happy Place, previously held an event accumulating roughly $1,400 in April of that year. Lucas was Saintrome’s elementary school teacher making her personally connected to the family, driving this operation. On Saturday, a suggested donation of $10 would go to Saintrome's family.
