The Summer Crazy Ice Cream Sundae Party is happening this Saturday July 20 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Baldwin Park Recreational Room to raise money for Michael Saintrome. Last year, Saintrome was severely injured after being hit by a car, damaging his head and leaving him in and out of consciousness. Angela Lucas, founder of Hangout One Happy Place, previously held an event accumulating roughly $1,400 in April of that year. Lucas was Saintrome’s elementary school teacher making her personally connected to the family, driving this operation. On Saturday, a suggested donation of $10 would go to Saintrome's family.
