Man Killed By Train After Driving Around Crossing Arms On Friday
Arkansas State Police has released the identity of the victim who was killed in a truck versus train crash in Brookland on Friday. Arkansas State Police fatal crash report states that Larry Ishmael Cox, age 34 of Bay Arkansas was killed in a crash that occurred around 1:20 p.m., Friday, July 19th at the railroad crossing on County Road 928 near Highway 49.
Wynne Junior High to host inaugural ‘Swarm Summit’
WYNNE — Wynne Junior High School has announced the inaugural Swarm Summit will be held on the first two days of school – Thursday, Aug. 1, and Friday, Aug. 2. Arbaugh ’95 Joins Ozarks as JLC Academic Support Coordinator
Adrienne Arbaugh has joined the University of the Ozarks as an academic support coordinator in the Jones Learning Center, beginning Aug. 1, 2024. Arbaugh is a 1995 U of O graduate with a degree in education. She most recently served as a teacher with the Clarksville School District from 2003-2024 and also taught in the Explorers Program, an after-school program that provides additional mentoring and guidance for some students.
