The suspect in a hit-and-run collision that killed Yucca Valley teenager Joshua Barreras was in court for a disposition hearing yesterday morning. Troy Reynolds is accused of striking the victim with a truck and fleeing the scene on the evening of January 26. Sheriff’s deputies found Barreras lying unresponsive in the center median of Twentynine Palms Highway near Avalon Ave. The teen was pronounced deceased at the Hi-Desert Medical Center later that night.
