Another temperature tease Tuesday before the summer heat returns later this week
HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Much warmer this evening compared to yesterday as we had a lot more sun than clouds compared to Sunday. But as we head into the overnight, the clouds will be increasing in cover thanks to a disturbance that has already triggered showers and thunderstorms over the High Plains out west. The risk for severe weather will stay west of the Local4 viewing area as these storms will weaken as they push eastward into central areas overnight into tomorrow morning. Here in the Tri-Cities we are looking at a 20% to 30% chance of showers 2AM and 6AM. Things will dry out for central areas early morning but some of this rain may linger in eastern spots until late morning. By tomorrow afternoon, much of the rain should diminish with just a small chance into the afternoon and evening. Extra clouds in the east could keep temperatures down in the 70s and lower 80s for highs on Tuesday. Meanwhile, more sunshine is expected in the west where temperatures could rise into the mid to upper 80s with 90s returning to the Panhandle.
Two Kansas leaders want you to know they support free speech, despite police shredding it in Marion

Laura Kelly. Both wanted […]

Forgotten Chiefs storyline may not make the 53-man roster after all
Sustaining a dynasty is not an easy task in the NFL. The salary cap, draft and schedule are all systematically designed to pull every team to mediocrity. As division winners, the team faces other division winners in the following season. As constant playoff contenders, the team has to pay a premium to retain the players that got them to the postseason. As Super Bowl champions, the franchise picks dead last in the draft.
