UPDATE: Woman charged with DUI after crash on I-94
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A Moorhead woman has been charged with DUI after a rear-end crash on Interstate-94 in Fargo on Monday morning. The North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to the crash on eastbound I-94 near the 25th Street exit just after 8:30 a.m. on August 26. Due to another three-vehicle crash earlier, traffic was slowed and stopped in that area.
Fargo woman hospitalized after I-29 crash near Hillsboro
TRAILL COUNTY, ND – One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on I-29 north of Hillsboro early this morning. The State Patrol says a Jeep rear-ended a pickup that slowed as it entered a construction zone. The driver of the Jeep, a 28-year old Fargo woman, was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Pyramid Mountain Lumber in Seeley Lake has completed finishing all lumber production. Family Owned and Operated Since 1949 the oldest surviving family owned and operated lumber mill in Montana is closing its doors citing a lack of staffing and a decreased value of lumber. The company had employed roughly 100 people. It was Seeley Lake’s largest employer and has been in a strategic wind down since March.
Man Dead After Traffic Stop Leads To Standoff
(Minot, ND) — A man is dead after a traffic stop in Minot turned into an armed standoff Saturday night. An officer pulled over a car on Highway 2, and when he approached, the driver pulled out a gun and threatened him. The officer retreated and tried to talk to the man, but he didn’t respond, and reportedly shot himself about a half-hour later. The driver was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The circumstances of the incident remain under investigation.

MONDAY: A mix of sun and clouds and lows in the upper-60s to 70s after a few lingering morning storms. Thereafter, another round will bring scattered showers, and even a few thunderstorms, into eastern ND and western MN this afternoon. Some of those storms could bring hail and gusty winds in southern Lakes Country and the southern Red River Valley, so we’ll keep an eye on Monday as well. Aside from those showers and storms, skies will be mostly cloudy, keeping temperatures in the upper-70s to low-80s. Overall, we’re starting the workweek with some rain.
