In the last 30 days, a total of 99 restaurants in Alachua County were inspected. Of that total, 52 restaurants passed the inspection at the first visit, while the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation revealed 47 restaurants didn't pass the first inspection.

People To Dine Out: With a United States Census Bureau 2023 estimated 285,994 people living in Alachua County, Florida, there are a lot of residents expected to dine out several times per week.

Then you'll have to add the visitors, including myself, who visit several times. With that in mind, it is important to stay updated with the latest inspection reports in the county to remain educated about your local options.

In this article, I have compiled a list of the restaurants in Alachua County found with the most inspection violations in recent visits in the last 30 days.

Nineteen restaurants featured on the list of eateries with the most infractions in late June and July thus far. Four of those restaurants were cited for 21 or more violations.

    Taste Restaurant Tops List

Taste restaurant was cited with the most violations. During an inspection on July 15, this Vietnamese restaurant, located at 4860 NW 39 Ave Ste C in Gainesville, was found to have committed 29 violations, resulting in an administrative complaint recommended and the need for a follow-up inspection.

Meanwhile, China Bowl at 5200 NW 43 St Ste 506 in Gainesville, was cited for 22 violations on July 2. Like Taste restaurant, this 4.0-star-rated Chinese restaurant received an administrative complaint recommended and the need for a follow-up inspection notice.

Cintron and La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant were both cited for 21 violations during July 8 inspections. Cintron's inspection was completed with no further action needed, so it met inspection standards, while La Fiesta required two additional follow-ups before meeting the standards on July 15.
