Tick Tok Diner, a popular Kissimmee diner known for its extensive breakfast, brunch, lunch, and early dinner menu, recently experienced a temporary closure due to a sequence of health code violations.

The Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation inspected the Osceola County restaurant on July 15, 2024, and revealed 27 violations, including 6 high-priority, 5 intermediate, and 16 basic violations.

High-priority violations included live roach and rodent activity, with inspectors noting live roaches in various areas of the kitchen and rodent droppings in preparation areas.

The inspector's note revealed that food safety concerns were also prominent. Time/temperature control violations were observed, with certain foods held at temperatures above the safe threshold. This led to a Stop Sale order for turkey due to temperature abuse.

Intermediate violations included issues with hand-washing facilities, such as inaccessible sinks, lack of paper towels, and missing soap at certain stations. Food-contact surfaces were found soiled, and unlabeled toxic substances were discovered.

Meanwhile, basic violations ranged from unsanitary conditions like soiled ceilings, walls, and floors to improper food storage practices. Dead roaches were found in multiple locations throughout the establishment.

A follow-up inspection on July 18, 2024, showed significant improvement. The diner met inspection standards during this visit, with only 3 basic violations remaining.

Tick Tok Diner, known for its extensive menu serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and early dinner, has a 4.0-star rating from 4,400 Google reviews.

A recent customer named James Daniels said in a Google Review:

We tried this diner on our vacation and everything was awesome the server was fabulous and the food was great

The Kissimmee and Osceola County establishment, located near Disney, operates daily from 8 am to 4 pm, offering a wide variety of dishes cooked to order.

NOTE: Please note that an inspection report, per the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, provides a snapshot of the conditions observed during the inspection.
