Lady Luck smiled on two Publix shoppers this week, with each snagging a weighty Fantasy 5 prize exceeding $50,000.

The Florida Lottery announced that winning tickets were sold at Publix stores in Jacksonville and Tampa during Wednesday's drawings. The Jacksonville winner pocketed $53,205.61, while the Tampa ticket holder scored an even sweeter $58,374.70. Now, I would say that's some good returns.

For the midday drawing, the winning numbers were 16-20-29-33-36. The evening draw saw 4-8-14-24-36 as the lucky combination.

Publix has been known for selling winner tickets, and these winners have hit the grocery store jackpot again. It's not every day you go shopping for milk and come home with a small fortune.

The Florida Lottery website showed that a second person also won the $58,374.70, which apparently wasn't at a Publix grocery store.

The clock is ticking for these fortunate shoppers. They have 180 days to claim their winnings at a Florida Lottery District Office.

Fantasy 5 keeps Floridians on their toes. Players aim to match all five numbers drawn in any order for the top prize. But even matching two, three, or four numbers can land you some cash or a free Quick Pick ticket.

Since its inception, Fantasy 5 has been a game-changer for Florida's education system. The lottery has generated over $3.87 billion for schools, while players have pocketed more than $5 billion in prizes.
