    Omaha, NE, authorities seek assistance in finding tool theft

    Authorities in Omaha, Nebraska, are busily searching for two women who are believed to have stolen thousands of dollars worth of tools from a visitor to the city.

    It is understood that the theft occurred over the weekend of July 20. A man visiting from Kentucky reported that more than $2,500 in tools was stolen from the bed of his pickup truck.

    According to surveillance footage captured and reported by KETV, the suspects, along with their vehicle, during the incident.

    Police said the women were seen driving a red SUV near a hotel located at the intersection of 88th and Dodge streets.

    Investigators suspect that both women were involved in the crime.

    They have a lead on one suspect but are seeking assistance from the public to identify the second woman, who was seen wearing an orange hat.
