Fays Deli And Subs in St. Petersburg topped the list with 41 violations on August 8. The restaurant was temporarily closed and has undergone three follow-up inspections since, with 18 violations still remaining in the most recent check.
Meanwhile, Loon Fong Restaurant in Pinellas Park also faced temporary closure after racking up 33 violations on August 7. They've since reopened after passing inspection on August 14.
Other notable mentions include Island Grille and Raw Bar (31 violations), China Wok Maximo Inc (29 violations), and O'Maddys Bar & Grille (28 violations).
It's worth noting that these inspection results are snapshots in time. Restaurants can and do improve their practices after inspections. Many of the establishments listed are working hard to address the issues raised.
