In the past month, a total of 116 restaurants in Pasco County underwent inspections by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. While 66 of these establishments passed the initial inspection, 50 required follow-up reviews due to violations.

Two restaurants stood out with the most violations:

Inspection reports revealed that Fox Hollow Golf Club received 22 violations during an August 21 inspection, including four high-priority issues. This dining common was cited for the most infractions in Pasco County in the last 30 days, and a follow-up review is scheduled.

In the meantime, The Great Catch in Zephyrhills was temporarily closed after inspectors found 20 violations on August 27, including four high-priority problems like "live, small flying insects in kitchen, food preparation area, food storage area."

A follow-up review on Aug. 28, 2024, saw only seven violations remaining, but the restaurants stayed closed. A second review later in the day saw a reduction of five infractions, but inspectors were still not satisfied, and The Great Catch in Zephyrhills must have another follow-up.
