    Flagler County, Florida, restaurant with the most violations in the last 30 days

    With a population of approximately 136,302 residents according to the United States Census Bureau 2023 estimates, Flagler County, Florida, has a wide array of dining options available.

    Residents and visitors often dine out multiple times per week, making it essential to stay informed about local restaurant inspection results. Over the last 30 days, a total of 73 restaurants were inspected in the county by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation.

    Of those, 49 restaurants passed their inspections on the first attempt, while 24 did not meet standards.

    In an effort to keep the community updated, this article highlights restaurants in Flagler County that reported a considerable number of violations during their most recent inspections.

    Several establishments were marked with concerning deficiencies, reflecting various health and safety violations.

    Leading the list is Mezzaluna Pizzeria at Town Center, located at 800 Belle Terre Pkwy #102 in Palm Coast, which was cited for 23 violations, including two high-priority issues on August 28, 2024.

    Despite these findings, the restaurant managed to meet inspection standards afterward.

    Meanwhile, Salsas Mexican Restaurant, situated at 250 Palm Coast Pkwy NE Ste 401, recorded 21 violations, eight of which were categorized as high-priority. Following its inspection on September 9, 2024, the restaurant addressed the issues by the follow-up visit on September 11, 2024.

    Kawa Sushi, at 1475 Palm Coast Pkwy NW, noted 20 violations with six high-priority concerns during its inspection on September 3, 2024. Nevertheless, it met the necessary inspection standards that same day.

    • - 14 violations: Sushi 99 - Aug. 28, 2024
    • - 14 violations: Tony's Pizza - Aug. 22, 2024
    • - 14 violations: Bob Evans Restaurant - Aug. 22, 2024
    • - 13 violations: Bamboo Creek China Bistro - Sept. 13, 2024
