With an estimated population of 404,310 in Collier County, according to the United States Census Bureau 2023 data, many residents and visitors frequently visit local eateries.

In the last 30 days, the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation has conducted inspections on 150 restaurants in the county. According to state records, 110 establishments successfully passed their inspections on the first visit, while 40 did not initially meet the necessary standards.

This is part of the reason why residents need to stay informed about restaurant inspections to make educated choices about where to dine.

Following this inspection, state authorities recommended an administrative complaint and deemed a follow-up review necessary. A subsequent inspection on September 23 revealed seven remaining violations, which require further action.

Another notable establishment, Tonys Ny Pizza, located at 7335 Radio Rd Unit 107 in Naples, was found to have 13 violations, including one high-priority infraction, during the September 19 inspection. This prompted the need for a follow-up inspection as well.

Shut them down! We refuse to dine out. We cook clean, healthy homemade meals. I don’t trust anyone. For the cost, service and quality…. Home is always better.
