Renegades On The River, a popular riverside restaurant and tiki bar in Putnam County, recently faced a health inspection that resulted in 16 violations, including seven high-priority infractions.

However, the restaurant, located at 171 Co Rd 309 in Crescent City, Florida, successfully addressed all the violations during a subsequent follow-up inspection, avoiding a temporary closure or fines.

The Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation conducted the initial inspection on September 24, 2024, citing violations related to food safety, sanitation, and nuisance management.

High-priority violations included incorrectly stored raw animal food, time/temperature management issues with ready-to-eat items, and the presence of flying insects in food preparation areas.

This swift turnaround ensures that patrons can continue to enjoy the riverside dining experience that has earned Renegades On The River its 4.5-star rating from nearly 2,500 Google reviews.
