Impersonating a law enforcement officer charge filed against Alberta man
LAWRENCEVILLE – Scott Dwayne Bray, 35, from Alberta, Virginia is charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer on July 3. Captain B. T. Evans with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office said Sergeant Adam Grassel responded to a call for a suspicious person. The caller said a younger white male driving a gray Ford Fusion with a Virginia tag was on her property parked behind the house she owns. She asked the male what he was doing and he stated he was with the FBI. She then asked to see identification. The male started to drive off and the caller said if he didn’t show identification she was going to call the sheriff’s office. The male then told her that the sheriff’s office couldn’t help her. She said he was trespassing and he told her he didn’t see any signs and drove away.
