Japanese medical device maker Nipro Corp. is poised to announce a roughly $400-million expansion that is expected to bring more than 230 jobs to Pitt County. The Osaka, Japan-based company has been the subject of incentives discussions with state and local officials, people familiar with the company's plans told WRAL on Tuesday.
