Housing may become a “human right” in La Crosse, under a city proposal
The city of La Crosse is discussing the idea of declaring housing as a “human right,” as other cities have done. The concept was debated on Wednesday by La Crosse’s human rights commission. Girls golf: Stoughton returns starting firepower
The Stoughton girls golf team returns a sectional qualifier, along with an all-conference selection. Junior Meadow Sawicki returns after making an all-conference team for the Vikings last year. Sawicki earned a spot on the Badger Small’s second team after taking seventh at the conference meet. She will be joined by returning starters – sophomore Aja Baker and senior Grace Braund.
