'Museum Night' at Music at the Marv

JANESVILLE — Downtown Janesville, Inc. and the Children’s Museum of Rock County co-hosted a fundraising event at Music at the Marv Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Marvin Roth Community Pavilion on Courthouse Hill. Museum Night featured music from Grand Groove Hotel, kids activities, free youth T-shirts, silent auction items, food trucks, and displays of the children’s museum’s latest design renderings. The nonprofit behind the museum has said it’s closing in on its Let’s PLAY Together capital campaign fundraising goal of $10 million, with over $8.5 million raised to date.
