JANESVILLE — The Janesville Muslim Dawa Circle invites the community to join in celebrating 10 years of fostering friendships and alliances in Janesville.

The event will take place at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23 at the Dawa Circle, 200 S. High St.

For the past decade, the Dawa Circle has been dedicated to building a network of friends and allies, reflecting the loving devotion of living in surrender to The Will of The Creator. This year’s gathering will feature a reflection on the memories and moments shared over the years. Attendees will have the opportunity to view photos and hear stories that capture the essence of the group’s journey.

“It’s really great to revisit the beautiful friendships that we’ve built over the years. It’s been really exciting,” Salih Erschen, director of the mosque said. “We invite people to come and experience the center and our community here and make those connections.”

There will also be a range of music, including a Native American drum ceremony and flute playing and traditional Islamic music.

The event is open to the public. For more information, please contact the Janesville Muslim Dawa Circle through their Facebook page, Janesville Muslim Dawa Circle, or at unaniherbal@hotmail.com.
