Mercyhealth and HealthNet of Rock County to offer free cancer screenings

JANESVILLE – Mercyhealth and HealthNet of Rock County will provide free cancer screenings on Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at HealthNet of Rock County, 113 S. Franklin St.

The screenings will include assessments for oral cancer, skin cancer, breast cancer and lung cancer screening qualification.

Early detection through screenings can identify cancer at its earliest stages, often before symptoms appear. Regular screenings, based on age, gender, family history and other risk factors, can lead to more effective treatment and improved outcomes.

Appointments are encouraged and can be made by calling 888-396-3729.

Walk-ins are also welcome.
