    Elliana Ostertag top competition in Milton girls golf win

    Milton defeated Edgerton in a girls golf dual meet on Friday in Jefferson. The Red Hawks won the nonconference contest with 396 strokes. The Crimson Tide finished with 415.

    Freshman Elliana Ostertag won the meet for Milton, topping the competition with 88 strokes. Edgerton sophomore Claudia Jenny finished second with a score of 97.

    Milton’s Avery Ferguson (100) and Emma Steinke (103) finished third and fourth respectively. Edgerton’s Lauren Richards took fifth with a score of 104.

    The Crimson Tide’s Amelia Leigh and the Red Hawks’ Piper Williams tied for sixth with 105 strokes.

    Milton will travel to Madison on Monday for a scramble and Edgerton will compete in Lake Mills on Thursday.
