Prep football: Edgerton, Evansville, Clinton among week 2 winners

In week two of the high school football season on Friday night, Edgerton beat visiting Lomira 21-20 to improve to 2-0.

Evansville pushed its record to 2-0 with a 21-19 home win over Brodhead/Juda.

Gabe Bockhop finished 18-of-35 passing for 259 yards with three touchdowns, one interception for the Cardinals (0-2), who got 101 yards on 24 carries from Grayson Arn.

Clinton (1-1) earned a 28-6 victory over Whitewater (0-2) on the road.

Parkview/Albany (1-1) picked up a 55-24 road win over Dominican.

Turner (1-1) fell at Delavan-Darien 13-7.

Big Foot (1-1) fell 52-0 on the road against Black Hawk/Warren.
