Saginaw, Buena Vista grants to boost park, rail trail
SAGINAW, MI — Two Saginaw County communities will receive a combined $1.8 million in public and private grant monies to invest in outdoor amenities. Buena Vista Township will receive $891,300 to revitalize Kueffner Park while Saginaw will collect $862,500 to invest in enhancements at Iron Belle Trail, officials said.

Holly Village (MI) Approves $666K for New Spartan Top-Mount Pumper
The Holly Village Council voted 6-0 recently to approve the purchase of a 2024 Spartan top-mount pumper from R&R Fire Truck, and financing through The State Bank in the amount of $666,445, tctimes.com reported. MAYVILLE — Sebewaing brothers Matt Rocha and Mark Rocha led the Mighty River Hogs of Midland to a 9-3 win over Mayville State Bank in a vintage baseball game on July 18.
