Woman killed in Flint shooting
FLINT, Mich. (WNEM) – A woman is dead after a shooting in Flint on Sunday. It happened about 2 p.m. in the 2000 block of S. Dort Highway on Sunday, July 21. Upon arriving at the scene, Flint police officers found a woman with a deadly gunshot wound and another victim with non-life-threatening injuries, Flint Police Det. Tyrone Booth said. Lake Orion man sentenced in attack at woman's home
A Lake Orion man was sentenced Monday to serve up to 50 years in prison in connection with sexually assaulting and beating a woman in her home. Adam Richards Williams broke into the home of the woman who had ended a relationship with him and proceeded to attack her between July 31 and Aug. 1, 2023, the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office said in a release.

A Lake Orion man was sentenced this week to at least 26 years in prison for what prosecutors called a “horrific” attack on his ex-girlfriend. Adam Richard Williams, 35, received a sentence of 26 to 50 years in prison after having been convicted on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, home invasion and aggravated domestic violence.
