Five years later, check-forger caught
CARO — Police say that almost five years ago, Kendrick R. Abernathy forged two checks – payable to himself – for a total of $5,699. The checks, from Cass City Oil and Gas Co. to Abernathy, were forged by Abernathy on Sept. 1 and Sept. 6, of 2019. The Cass City Police Department, however, caught up to Abernathy, now 35, of Saginaw.

GRAND BLANC, Mich. (WJRT) - The Grand Blanc City Council approved a ballot question Thursday for voters to consider a millage that would provide additional funding for parks.
