'Adventure Maps' underway at Nioga libraries
BATAVIA — Area library users are invited to participate in Nioga Library System’s “Library Adventure Map” program this summer. The program is open to all patrons and community members within Niagara, Genesee and Orleans Counties. A library card is not required to participate.
Genesee County Village & Museum kicks off 4th of July

Impaired driving enforcement effort will continue through Sunday
BATAVIA — An enforcement effort by area police will continue through Sunday. Genesee County law enforcement agencies, including the Sheriff’s Office, City of Batavia Police Department and the Village of Le Roy Police Department are participating in a coordinated effort with the STOP-DWI program to bring awareness to the dangers of impaired driving.
