HORSEHEADS — The Olean Oilers dropped the first game of a scheduled doubleheader Friday and could not complete the second after taking an early lead. Horseheads took the first game 7-1. Olean led 2-0 in the second inning of the second, but the game was suspended after a delay due to weather. Friday’s Game 2 is set to be resumed Tuesday before an already scheduled game in Horseheads.

COHOCTON, N.Y. — New York State Police say Adrian Gregory-Kielbasa, 26, is the name of the man who died in a rollover crash in Steuben County. The family of a Tioga County, Pennsylvania woman finally has closure a year after she went missing, and eight months after her car and human remains were located. Phyllis Potter, 85, of Westfield, disappeared July 21, 2023, triggering a massive search by Pennsylvania State Police at Mansfield and other agencies, along with hundreds of citizen volunteers.
Cindy Rose Keating, 67, Andover
ANDOVER – Cindy Rose Keating, 67, passed away on Sunday (June 30, 2024) at home following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Keating was born on June 6, 1957 in Kittery, Maine to Robert and Barbara (Richardson) Smith. On July 11, 2015, on the Keating Farm, she married Richard C. Keating who survives. Cindy worked as a bartender and waitress, most recently at the Village Pub in Andover. She worked for nine years at Saputo’s in Friendship and she worked along with her husband on the Keating Farm.
