Steamers win seventh in a row, use 5-run fifth inning to topple Oilers
OLEAN — The Hornell Steamers continued their winning ways on Wednesday as they exploded for a 5-run fifth inning to topple the Olean Oilers 7-1 at Bradner Stadium. Hornell took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second inning. Braden McLin smacked an RBI single, scoring Markus Brehm. Nicolas Schwing stepped to the plate and delivered another RBI, scoring McLin.
