Police release name of man, 26, killed in Steuben County crash
COHOCTON, N.Y. — New York State Police say Adrian Gregory-Kielbasa, 26, is the name of the man who died in a rollover crash in Steuben County. The Angelica resident was killed after the minivan he was in left the road and rolled over on Wednesday just before 5 p.m. It happened in the Town of Cohocton on State Route 371 near State Route 21.
DNA confirms human remains found in Tioga County were those of missing Westfield woman
The family of a Tioga County, Pennsylvania woman finally has closure a year after she went missing, and eight months after her car and human remains were located. Phyllis Potter, 85, of Westfield, disappeared July 21, 2023, triggering a massive search by Pennsylvania State Police at Mansfield and other agencies, along with hundreds of citizen volunteers.

Seneca Nation of Indians files notice of claim against Olean wastewater discharges
OLEAN — The Seneca Nation of Indians moved a step closer to suing the city of Olean over wastewater discharges into the Allegheny River. On Tuesday, the Nation announced it had submitted a notice of claim to the city over multiple wastewater discharges in violation of state Environmental Conservation Law. A notice of claim is required at least 30 days before filing a lawsuit against a municipality under state law.
Allegany County Democrats open headquarters in Wellsville
WELLSVILLE — The Allegany County Democratic Committee opened the doors to its 2024 headquarters Monday evening with the help of congressional candidate Tom Carle. The headquarters at 84 N. Main St. will be open daily until the presidential election in November, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and on Sundays starting at noon. The public is invited “to come in and talk.”
