Troy Post 70 wins State Championship
Getting your Trinity Audio player ready... The Troy Post 70 19U summer baseball team won its eighth straight American Legion Baseball State Championship this past weekend. Post 70 went 5-0 in the State Tournament to earn a spot in the American Legion Southeast Regional. On Friday, July 19, Troy started the tournament off with a 20-1 win over Post 107. Cody Walsh went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double, one RBI and one run, while future Troy Trojan Cody Markham went 1-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs.
