New York City — After listening to two friends argue, Hegel had heard enough.

"[Gentlemen], genuine tragedies aren't conflicts between right and wrong," Hegel said. "They're conflicts between two rights!"

When NYC's major, Eric Adams, called demonstrators slamming down the American flag a “despicable” act, he explained why:

“That’s our flag, folks. You don’t take over our buildings and put another flag up. That may be fine to other people but, it’s not to me.”

Adams went on to explain how his "uncle died defending this country." When viewed from the mayor's POV, this seems like the right viewpoint...

...On the other hand, the First Amendment is first for a reason. No different from when Obama was a pimple-faced student at Columbia, protesting in the courtyard, these students also have the right to protest for what they believe in.

Because no matter how thin you slice the bread, there'll always be two sides, let's peek at the counterargument for both sides.

First, Mayor Adams...

...Never forget this: Nature made continents; Man made countries. There's only one human race sharing one life in one world.

Second, over-eager college students...

...Never forget this: Had it not been for the freedoms offered by the 'Free World,' which the American flag proudly represents, you wouldn't be at an upscale, Ivy League campus. Let alone, bickering over politics.

In short, as for the argument in general:
