If you find yourself in Savannah, missing out on Wiley's Championship BBQ should be a crime! This place serves up the best American BBQ I've ever had, hands down. The sampler platter was a carnivore's dream come true, featuring brisket, ribs, chicken, and pork paired with an array of sides like potato salad, beans, broccoli rice, and Brunswick stew. Each bite was a burst of flavor, especially the ribs and brisket which were cooked to perfection—fall off the bone ribs and brisket that was just the right amount of dry yet moist enough to keep you coming back for more. And oh, the sauces! They are simply out of this world and deserve a special mention.
The atmosphere at Wiley's is unassuming yet welcoming, with a clean and well-maintained setting that includes some cozy outdoor seating. The service is stellar, making you feel right at home. Even the sides stand out on their own; the broccoli cheese and rice casserole was particularly outstanding, and they weren't kidding when they said they have the best beans on the planet! For dessert, the banana pudding and peach cobbler were the perfect end to a delightful meal. Trust me, the photos I took can't even begin to do justice to the deliciousness of the food here. Wiley's Championship BBQ is a true champion of flavors and you'd be missing out if you didn't stop by!
