Macon, GA – According to the state officials, this funding round includes the fourth largest loan in the program’s history, all allocated under Governor Kemp’s administration.

Peach County received the largest award in GTIB’s history, totaling $6.6 million, which includes a $5.6 million loan and a $1 million grant.

This funding will accelerate the paving of Lilly Creek Road, a crucial dirt road that provides access to over 1,000 acres of developable land and enhances connectivity in the region.

This investment underscores the commitment to prioritizing infrastructure development in rural parts of Georgia.
