    After the success of the top ten offensive tackles in college football ranking, it's time to rank the top ten interior offensive linemen in college football.


    This list will feature the top ten interior offensive linemen in college football, with a few honorable mentions, whether it's a transfer player or a player who has been in his program for a few years.


    Top Ten Interior Offensive Linemen


    1. Tate Ratledge, OG, Georgia

    Since his first year as a starter at right guard in 2022, Tate Ratledge has been one of the top pass protectors in the country. In 2023, he earned an 87.4 pass-blocking grade and allowed only a 1.3% pressure rate, ranking third among Power Five guards per PFF .


    2. Donovan Jackson, OG, Ohio State

    Former five-star recruit Donovan Jackson had a small sample size in his Freshman season, only registering 37 pass-block snaps but didn't allow a sack, hit, or hurry. He became the full-time starter at right guard in his Sophomore season and has been a staple on the Buckeyes' offensive line ever since. According to PFF , he was graded out as the third-most valuable returning Power Five interior offensive lineman since 2022 .


    3. Parker Brailsford, C, Alabama

    Parker Brailsford is the only player on this list to play at a new school in 2024. He followed his head coach from Washington to Alabama. In the 2023 season, he was the nation's top center per PFF , earning All-Pac-12 second-team and first-team freshman all-American honors.


    4. Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama

    Tyler Booker saw early playing time for the Tide as a true Freshman, playing in 12 games at both guard spots, and was selected as a Freshman All-American by PFF.


    The following season, he became the Tide's full-time left guard, earning first-team All-SEC honors from the Associated Press and second-team All-SEC recognition from the conference coaches.


    5. Eli Cox, C, Kentucky

    Eli Cox is entering his sixth season for the Wildcats; he's locked in at center after splitting time at right guard and center during the 2023 season, where he earned Second Team All-SEC honors. Now he gets the challenge of protecting transfer quarterback Brock Vandagriff.


    6. Clay Webb, OG, Jacksonville State

    Former five-star prospect Clay Webb spent his first three seasons at Georgia before transferring to Jacksonville State.


    Webb immediately impacted the Gamecocks, playing in 10 of the 11 games where they led the ACUN in rushing offense (251 yards per game) and led the conference in points per game with 36.2 points per game.


    In 2023, Webb took off, becoming the focal point for the Gamecocks' offensive line at left guard. He earned First-Team all-American honors and was named the FBS Offensive Guard of the Year by College Football Network and Second Team All-CUSA.


    7. Xavier Truss, OG, Georgia

    Xavier Truss saw action in a limited role in his first seasons with the Bulldogs before becoming the full-time starter at left guard in 2022.


    The following season, Truss became a household name, earning Coaches Second Team All-SEC selection and Preseason Media Days All-SEC Second Team and being included on the Senior Bowl Watch List. He was part of an offensive line that ranked first in the SEC and finished fifth in the nation in total offense (496.5 yards per game) and scoring offense (40.1).


    8. Luke Kandra, OG, Cincinnati

    Luke Kandra started his career at Louisville and was one of the best pass-blocking guards in college football. Per PFF , he was one of the 11 Power Five guards who did not allow a single pressure or sack on 150 pass-blocking snaps.


    Kandra's head coach, Scott Satterfield, left for the Cincinnati job, and Kandra followed him, where he started 12 games at right guard. While there, he logged 895 snaps during the regular season - the third most by any guard in the nation. Kandra finished the season with 2023 All-Big 12 First Team (AP) and 2023 All-Big 12 Second Team (Coaches) honors.


    9. Dylan Fairchild, Georgia

    In his first season as a starter, Dylan Fairchild made an immediate impact, forming the best one-two punch at offensive guard with teammate Tate Ratledge.


    Fairchild's 86.8 pass-blocking grade ranked fourth among Power-Five guards per PFF and helped Georgia's offense finish fifth in the nation in total offense (496.5 yards per game) and scoring offense (40.1).


    10. Micheal Ford Jr, Kansas

    No interior offensive lineman has been more critical to their team than Micheal Ford Jr has been for the Jayhawks. Ford has the highest wins above average metric since 2022 and is among the five offensive guards ranked in the top 20 in both run and pass blocking per PFF .
