A massive lottery prize remains unclaimed in Georgia as the Georgia Lottery is urging players to check the game's mobile app to see if they're in possession of the winning ticket .

The winning Powerball ticket, worth $2 million, was reportedly sold on the lottery's mobile app from Powder Springs, a city located about 20 miles west of Atlanta. But no one has come forward to claim the prize.

On Wednesday night, The U.S. Sun reported that a Powerball drawing was held for a massive $116 million jackpot, but no one matched all five numbers and the Powerball. The winning numbers were reportedly 16, 42, 59, 63, 68 and Powerball 13.

Georgia is one of a few states in which lottery players are able to download a mobile app from which they can purchase their tickets. The practice is outlawed in other lottery-playing states, with only 10 allowing it, according to USA Today.

The Georgia Lottery app, according to its website, allows players to scan and play scratch-off games, purchase draw-game tickets and see if they won using the app. They can also check for winning numbers and find lottery retailers by searching nearby or by zip code.

Cash Pop, KENO!, Fantasy 5, Mega Millions, Cash3, Cash4 and Powerball are all tickets sold by the Georgia Lottery via its mobile app. Users are also able to play Diggi Games, which are the lottery's new interactive instant games.

It's not just the Georgia prize that remains unclaimed, either — The U.S. Sun reported that players are being asked to check their tickets in Arizona, as a $1 million prize remains unclaimed in the Southwestern state.

There are also thousands left unclaimed in Missouri, it was reported, with those winnings seeming to be scattered across multiple games, not just the Powerball.

In Powerball, there are nine different ways a player can win and take home some money — with the prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million for those who don't quite meet the criteria for the jackpot.

A player can earn $4 if the Powerball number drawn matches theirs. They also win $4 if the a drawn ball and the Powerball itself match. If two of the drawn balls and the Powerball or three of the drawn balls match, the player wins $7. If three of the drawn balls match along with the Powerball or four of the drawn ones match, a player wins $100.

The prize jumps to $50,000 if four of the balls as well as the Powerball match, then to $1 million if all five drawn balls match. The top prize is reserved for those who match all five drawn balls and the Powerball.
