Uneducated School Board Denies Open Records Request | Police Called

Existing in public and seeing where your tax dollars are going could have police called on you. Also, the denial of submitting an open records request could land Wilkinson County School Board in a lawsuit if they continue.
Police were called and police made no contact with me and appeared to hook up the staff with an education at the side door. Shout out to the Wilkinson County Sheriff’s Office.
To make matters worse, staff then down right ignored my request to submit an open records request.

When existing in public and observing where your tax dollars are being spent, it is important to be aware of how your actions may be perceived. While it is within your rights to observe and question how public funds are being used, this could potentially lead to a confrontation if misconstrued by others. If someone feels threatened or suspicious of your behavior, they may call the police.
