They opened up the World Series with a 8-5 win over Livingston on July 18. Cole Cleveland led Troy at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run, while Elliot Cochran went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Juvenile injured during gunfire incident in Montgomery neighborhood
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Montgomery police say a disturbance on Rosa L. Parks Avenue Monday afternoon left a 13-year-old boy hurt, but not seriously. A police spokeswoman said officers responded to a shooting call at about 1:15 p.m. Officers found that the boy sustained minor injuries as a result of gunfire during the disturbance.
Fort Deposit Youths Apprehended For Montgomery Murder
Lowndes County Sheriff’s investigators detained two Fort Deposit juveniles on Saturday in connection with a Montgomery homicide. Sheriff Chris West announced the arrests on July 20, after investigators apprehended two 16-year-old black youths wanted for the July 18 murder of a Hispanic male in West Montgomery.
