Pawhuska fastpitch team is 4-6 to start the season
Pawhuska High School's girls fastpitch softball team ended last week with a record of 4 wins, 6 losses during the first 10 games of the 2024 season. Pawhuska began with consecutive wins over in-county opponents Skiatook, Barnsdall and Hominy to raise its record to 4-3, but then dropped a Thursday decision to Stroud and two Friday games to Mannford and Berryhill.
Oklahoma History Center Museum Accepting Applications for Docent Training Program
OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma History Center Museum (OHCM) is currently accepting applications and inquiries from anyone interested in becoming a qualified OHCM Docent. The required coursework is both online and classroom-based. It will start on Wednesday, November 6, and take approximately six weeks to complete. There is no charge for this curriculum. Iowa’s Bradley Hill to Transfer to OU
First reported by Ross Bartachek of IAWresle, former Iowa heavyweight Bradley Hill is transferring to OU. Hill was the starter at Iowa at heavyweight for the majority of last season, but plans to wrestle for the 197 lb spot at OU that was recently vacated by Stephen Buchanan who transferred to Iowa. Hill was 21-9 last season and finished fifth at the Big Ten Championships and was an NCAA qualifier.
