Firefighters reached 100% containment of the 36-acre Flora Fire east of Geyserville, Cal Fire announced Saturday morning.

Cal Fire Sonoma-Lake-Napa firefighters will continue to patrol the area for the next three days, “to make sure there’s no smoke being produced. If it is, they will address any hot spots should they find any,” said Cal Fire spokesperson Jason Clay.

The vegetation fire began late Wednesday afternoon in the 1200 block of Chalk Hill Road.

No structures were damaged in the fire, Cal Fire announced on X.

On Thursday Cal Fire law enforcement announced it had arrested Justin Roy Jones, 44, of Anderson on suspicion of causing the fire. The agency said Jones had been seen driving without a front tire for over four miles, which created sparks that caused three separate fires on Chalk Hill Road.

As of Saturday morning he was no longer in custody at Sonoma County jail, records show.
