Nebraska 43rd Army Band Performs at Green Space
The 43rd Army Band of the Nebraska National Guard showcased their Music Performance Teams at the Green Space on Monday, July 8. SFC Mandi Crick, a Team Leader for the band, contacted Cozad Community Leaders member Mandy Swanson last winter to find out if they would be interested in sponsoring the band as part of their Music Mondays summer series. Music Mondays are scheduled during August, but Swanson and the CCL agreed to be part of the Band’s Annual Tour. SFC Crick is the niece of Doug and Rachel Crick of Cozad.

Affidavit: Men arrested after selling half a pound of meth to Lincoln investigators
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Authorities arrested two men as part of a coordinated drug sting outside a Lincoln grocery store on Monday. Nathaniel Stephenson and Alfredo Dominguez III, both 27 years old, were arrested in a parking lot near the West A Street and South Coddington Avenue.
