RMU, Duquesne Players Shine in U20 European Championships
Two local college players are currently playing basketball in Poland. Robert Morris’ sophomore forward Alvaro Folgueiras is competing at the U20 European Championships in Poland, representing his home country of Spain. He has led the team to a 3-0 record in the group stage competition so far. He has grabbed four rebounds in two of the three games, and scored six, eight, and zero points in the three games. Folgueiras is averaging over 14 minutes per game.

The shooter was 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was killed by the Secret Service. He was a registered Republican who once gave $15 to a Democratic fundraising platform.
