UNC System announces search committee for new chancellor at NC State
UNC System president Peter Hans did not waste any time in appointing the committee that will recommend a replacement for NC State Chancellor Randy Woodson. Woodson, the longest serving chancellor in the University of North Carolina System, announced on Thursday that he will retire at the end of June of 2025 after 15 years leading the system’s largest university. Today, system president Peter Hans appointed a 13-member search advisory committee that will lead the effort to identify a new leader for the Raleigh-based institution.
City Leaders Trying To Figure Out How To Clean Up Contaminated Bingham Park
The Greensboro City Council will meet to discuss what can be done to eventually reopen the contaminated and closed Bingham Park in order to make it safe for parkgoers again. The soil in the park was discovered to be badly contaminated and now the big question for City Council members is how to dispose of all that chemical lacked soil.
Local Athletes excel at World Ninja Championships
The Ninja Labs (Saratoga & Albany) recently traveled to Greensboro, NC for the World Ninja League World Championships. The World Ninja League is the premiere obstacle league in the sport of Ninja.
