OA-BCIG Victorious in Season Opener
OA-BCIG carried a shutout into the 2nd half and won 47-20 at Estherville Lincoln Central last (Fri) night. OA-BCIG’s third drive was set up by a fumble recovery at the ELC 23 yard line. A four play drive was capped by an eight yard touchdown run by Kade Spotts. The Falcons went 77 yards down field on the next series and found the end zone on an eight yard run by Kolar. Touchdown passes of 34 yards to Dayton Ullrich and then eight yards to Jaxx DeJean with eight seconds left in the half made the score 28-0 at halftime.

Bobcat Boys Golf Dominates, XC gets Cancelled
The Marshalltown Bobcat Boys Golf team traveled north to Mason City for the Dick Garth Invite, played at Highland Park Golf Course. The Bobcats held 3 of the top 4 spots with Freshman Joe Greazel leading the way earning 2nd place overall shooting at 77. Ty Faltys and Parker Christen earned 3rd and 4th shooting a 79 and Eli Polley earned 7th with an 81. The Bobcats win this meet by 8 strokes over host, Mason City. The Bobcats will be off until Tuesday next week when they travel to Ankeny for the Ankeny Invitational.

The Mason City Invite will take place at the Highland Park Golf Course, and the Bobcat Boys are set to tee off at 10am. This is the 2nd meet this week, after playing at Fort Dodge Country Club on Tuesday.
