Colt Ford, the Country music-rap star is currently in ICU at the Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona.  Ford performed at the Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row in Gilbert, Arizona Thursday night April 4.

Ford is a multi-Platinum singer-songwriter who has several number one hits.  Probably his most famous song is one he co-wrote, "Dirt Road Anthem".  The song has streamed 927 million times.

Colt was scheduled to perform in New Mexico on Friday.

The singer has had a history of health problems including an autoimmune disease known as Myasthenia Gravis.  Colt told Taste of Country, "The disease affects the muscles in your face, your eyes, and your throat. It hadn't really affected my throat, but it has affected my eye. I had no control over my right eye. It really messes with your vision. I could see perfectly out of either eye, but then I would look together and I’d see three of you and you would be melting together like a lava lamp."

There are no reports that the disease had anything to do with Ford's heart attack.

Ford's team has reported that he is in stable condition. Updates to Ford's condition will be posted to his website and social media channels.
